Taste of Home, based in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, West Midlands, is a creator and maker of home cooked cakes and tasty treats for all occasions. I can create and make your Wedding Cake or Birthday Cake, a Festive Cake for Christmas and Easter or perhaps a special Novelty Cake for an anniversary, valentines day or a commemoration. In fact any event cake you may wish to celebrate with a cake.
Or if you just want a wonderful Victoria Sponge Cake or a delicious Chocolate Cake I have a selection of Everyday Cakes for you. I bake these cakes to order and they are all home made.
Taste of Home is very passionate about home cooked products and I pay particular attention to detail. All my cakes and treats are made from excellent quality ingredients. 
For instance, I also only use free range eggs. I do not and will not use pre made cake mixes or shop brought cakes. For me it's important to offer you the tastiest cakes possible.
Cupcakes
Taste of Home also specialise in cupcakes. Our standard size cupcakes are available for orders of 12 or more. I also make special cupcakes for birthdays, weddings, events and parties. I provide a wide choice of butter cream, iced or fondant toppings - see cupcakes page for the selection of flavours. Please call or email me for more details or your requirements.
Dessert cupcakes
Taste of Home are also pleased to present our dessert cupcake selection. From Banoffee flavour to Tiramisu, these cupcakes are excellent for parties and are a fun alternative to the traditional petits fours, or for a special dessert or even a delicious treat.
Cake pops
If you want to give your kids something really special for their birthday party just try my Cake Pops. They look like lolly pops but are iced cake treats on a stick. They can be a good party gift, or even to accompany the birthday cake, kids love them! It's different and makes a party extra special!
Gift Hampers
I also make a wide section of other tasty home cooked produce too; which can be biscuits, chocolates, jams and chutneys, the offer will change on the event or season, so keep an eye on the site. All presented in beautiful gift hampers which make excellent presents for Christmas, Easter, birthdays and special occasions. All of our Gorgeous Gifts are homemade and attractively gift packaged at affordable prices. I require at least 1 week in advance order.
